a $5 head shim and about $5 more a gallon. that is about as enexpensive as you will ever see for a hopup. you will find the 086 pipe on ebay for about $40-50 + shipping.
the $300 in advice you just got from all of us is for free.
 
a head shim is like a head gasket. it goes between the head and the block. you would only need re-shim the engine head if you were to increase the nitro content. typically you would need only one additional shim. check and see what the manufacture recomends.
 
:sniper: - do a search on what a head shim is, when and why to use them
 
220-260 for me, it is a little conservative but i do just lean it out on race day to almost 290.
