Car wont start!!

Changed batteries, pulled and checked glow plug ( it glows), engine not flooded!

Dont know what to do I'm running out of ideas and patience.

Any suggestions?

Are you priming it before ya start it? If not, when pulling it put your finger over the exhaust tip until ya feel some good presure and youll hear it sounding deeper. Then pull away your finger and she should start in a couple pulls. If you are priming it and its still not firing, then ya might want to look for some air leaks or try some new fuel line (how old is your fuel line? I change my quit frequently just for peace of mind) Good luck and hope some of this helps ya out.

The whole car is only 3 weeks old. I prime it b4 starting ( roto )

Ill try the muffler thing!

Went out a did what you said 4u and I heard and noticed fuel coming out of bottom of engine ( see pic) also when I picked it up to bring in house fuel POURED out of the muffler!!

Please dont tell me I blew the engine!!!

She sounds flooded. Tank out your glow plug, and without the glow plug in do a few turns on the roto start until all the fuel is done spraying out the top. Then let her air out a couple seconds, put in the good plug and try it again. Youll get it.

Ditto

The only thing I would add is, return it to the stock settings.

Good luck

It looks to me like your airfilter is missing part of the filter. Did you run it that way? If you did I'd have to say your engine is toast. Just my .02

Theres only a few things to these engine

Glow Plug
Getting gas?
Getting too much gas?

Thats pretty much it.

Pull the plug, and air it out by turning it over a few times. Put your glow plug back in loosly and put on the ignitor, turn it over a little more. screw plug in and fire it up.

Super deep sound = flooded = spewing from carb
Light and way easy turn = no gas

You want it to sound a little "throaty" and you'll hear it start crackling as it attempts to fire into running

If you need help feal free to I'm

No I just pushed down on it to see if there was fuel in it.

Thanks for the replies. Hopefully thats all it is.

Update

Engine is toast...

Had to buy the 18SS... Ran 3 tanks already and now that I'm starting to lean it a little it wants to take off. I have my Throttle Trim to 0 ( I think ) Its all the way to the left (towards rear ) of the pistol.

I have read the other posts with problems like this BUT I really have no clue where all the stuff is your talking about. :opps:

Can someone PLEASE explain to me ( if its not to much trouble) in laymans terms how to fix this problem.

Also, according to the manual it says to leave carb open 1/4 inch.

I really can't afford to lose another engine!!

Is there a book I can buy?

ITS MUCH APPRECIATED!!

plaidfish alway recomends the ultimate nitro tuning guide book ...says it really is a good book to have
