I am torn between the two at the moment, I am purchasing either the GT or the Savage when my tax return arrives next Tuesday (thank you wifey) but I am confused as to which one I should purchase.

Is there a big difference between the two? I have done alot of reading on both and they both seem to be great trucks and I am sure I'll be happy with either.

Could someone help to make my decision easier, pros and cons on either?

Thanks in advance.

My current lineup includes a Nitro RS4, RC10GT, and a TC3.

i have a monster gt-- my goof friend has a savage 25 ss-- to me the gt seems like it is a more rugged and sturdy truck than the savage-- the savage got more speed than the gt definaltly-- but in my opinion-- i think u can beat up the monster gt alot more-- without alot of it breaking---

so if u are looking for durability-- i would say go for the gt--
if u want speed-- go for the savage---

OK here we go again.

I have the MGT and bashed with a Savage 25. To me the MGT is a far more superior truck due tothe way it was built . The Savage is also a good truck due the plethora of support it has by aftermarket parts. The MGT is still waiting on more support but I know that RPM is on the ball now in making arms for it. RC Solutions has either made the roll cage for it already or its pretty close, haven't checked. I know the cheesy fake piggybacks are a joke but just upgrade!!! The Bumpers are lame but UPGRADE. New Era Models has Titanium bumpers. Anyways, I have bashed my MGT and I love it. Granted it is not as fast as the Savage 25 but I am not worried since I am pretty close on whether to buy the Picco 26 or the new Picco P3.

KNOW THIS!! You will BREAK parts and you can't prevent that. It happens to all of us. To me its all in what you want to do with the truck. The Savage is fast and the MGT is durable. Now if you live in cold weather, as you bash in the snow or have low temps parts will be even more brittle.

RLMAO.. So true!!

This debate on what is better can only be decided by the buyer. Think of in the long run what you see yourself working on. I see myself getting my MGT to run Awesome. A truck is only as good as its driver. IF you can't wrench your ride then you might as well not buy one. Breaking things is common, putting your hard earned cash and heart is unique. DO the homework and research what the LHS carries if you are interested in the MGT it is still a truck waiting for support. That will happen. The Savage is a great truck, I still would like to have one. I don't care who's truck is better as long as I LOVE MINE.!!
