Here is my Tamiya Monster beetle. Body still needs paint and detailing. My older brother had one when they first came out in 1986. Always thought looked cool and was something a little different than the norm with the beetle body and gold wheels especially since the chassis is the same as the Blackfoot and Frog.

Very cool indeed! I'm a sucker for bugs. :thumbs-up:
Me, too!
I have a Losi Mega Baja still brand new in the box, that's been in the basement for over 10 years now. One of these days, it will see light of day and spew the fumes of nitro!

BREEEHHHH you got to make a second body for it like the "Outlaw 04" 🤘🤟
Yeah, that one is my fav. It would take some custum lexan shapes applied to the body to make that happen, but wouldn't be too hard.

I have a slew of inspirational Beetle images for when I paint our Kyosho Beetle body. Here are a few I really like.

I do like the true fire…I’m an airbrush guy so I could do that for sure, that’s pretty much what I was thinking as well something along those lines

It wouldn't be hard on the Tamiya hard body.

id have a local shop 3dimig it and have a tie dye vinal wrap printed...love the 04 outlaw just that v8 mounted to the transaxle.
That's a good idear. Bet there is nobody around my area that does that stuff though.
