Mojave 4s Hi-Lux Livery Reboot

My dream R/C growing up was the Tamiya Hi-Lux.

After purchasing the Mojave 4s a year ago and destroying the body that was almost similar I decided to keep that theme but give it a modern refresh with some TRD colors and Ivan Stewart race livery. Other than a few more stickers I need to make I have a vision so stay tuned!

Step one...4 coats of Duratrax Gun Metal

Step 2... Backing coats of Duratrax Bright White to give that gun metal some shine and pop!
Also reinforced the weak points with drywall tape before finishing up with step 3.

Added a simple coat of black Flex Seal to finish.
Super happy with the results for the painting procedure!

Now to let it cure for 48 hours and on to the fun part of creating the livery.

Same! I love that truck!!! Kyosho had some similar too. AE did S10's I think... just cool looking and built to race!
Great idea for a modern twist on that cool classic!
