mode 1 vs mode 2

the difference is where the controls are. mode 2 is standard for the u.s. heres a diagram

its the same for a helicopter
 
A new hobby shop opened here several years ago and a customer wanted a demo of the helis they just got in. When I realized everything was wrong I learned about the European mode 1. I refused to fly it because I knew I'd wreck it.
 
Thanks for the info...didnt want to buy the wrong thing :) Or maybe I should learn mode 1 and then no one will ever never ask to fly my helis lol
 
I won't fly a heli with mode 1 any more than I'd drive a motorcycle in England.
The first thing you do will be wrong. So will the next thing.
