You guys may have remembered the twin vellinion emaxx I built earlier this year,
this is an update on that thread. And by update I mean updating to the castle MM system. The twin vellinion setup was a fun build, however, the practicality of driving on anything other than pavement w/o excessive heat build up was..well...impractical. No matter what gearing I tried, the motors did not want to run at a safe temp. It may have been the fact that they were not perfectly synchronized (live and learn I guess.) After frying two motors I decided to give up and bought the castle MM system under Traxxas's power up program. I am waiting on a single motor mount to finish the build, but I can already tell this motor will be more than enough to handle the emaxx.

cool, you'll be very happy just using a single motor. The twin is just too difficult, Traxxas couldn't get it to work to it's full potential with reliability and they had all the resources to make it work.
