Hey got this car cause it’s cheap an I couldn’t afford a Arrma felony or infraction , but anyways I think I got some potential with this bad boy honestly just looking for suggestions on giving this truck everything to make it as good as a Arrma . Upgrade suggestions throw em at me thanks

Welcome to RCTALK.COM!!! 😎👍
I also had a budget rc. A Deerc200e.
My goal was to bling it out a little and make it a rocket.
I changed shocks and tires, motor and a bunch of aluminum stuff.
The shock towers bent in the very first roll over. Both of them in the trash.
Aluminum a arms are a complete waste of $. They will also bend and likely cause more damage to other components.
The hub carriers did tighten steering slop as did the new steering rack.
The stock shocks never actually got used. Replaced those before I charged the first battery. Sometimes 'upgrades' aren't optional! 🤣
When I compare the quality of the plastic and metal parts of this to the parts on my Optima Mid, its very easy to see that the quality if the 'upgrade' parts and even the stock parts just isn't the same. 30 year old Kyosho parts are WAY nicer! 🤣
My upgrade suggestions to you are...
Go charge your batteries and enjoy the hell out of this car, stock.
Replace what breaks and be CAREFUL about what you 'upgrade' vs what you replace with another stock part.
Plastic arms bend, then they bend back.
A new, faster motor means you'll be faster to break too.
Lots to consider before you buy upgrades. 😉

SAVE all that money you plan to invest in your hypergo and buy your next hobby grade, dream r/c! 😎👍

Just leave it alone, it’s not an arrma so don’t go down that road. I know what truck you are speaking of and I doubt you need anything really. Play around with shock fluids and make sure there’s grease on the ring gear of the diffs. You can also change the diff fluid in the rear to something really thick to make it more of a locked differential which should help it drift a little better. I’ve been thinking about getting one myself.
Just drive the thing, it’s pretty limited to flat surfaces anyway. I think you will get frustrated working on it.
I’m starting to sound like a broken record with these hypergo suggestions 😆

A few things I just thought of:
1- Charge the battery with a good charger, don’t use what came with the truck. It takes forever to charge, it doesn’t balance the cells very well, and you can’t keep an eye on the internal resistance (IR’s) of each cell, which is extremely important to stay on top of. An unhealthy battery is a stinky disaster of a fire waiting to happen.
2- once the shocks start leaking, disassemble them and grease the orings and reassemble. They are bladder type shocks and a pain to assemble properly. There shouldn’t be any air in the reservoir. Plenty of videos out there. I could explain it but I’m already writing a short novel here. I used the bladders from a Traxxas rebuild kit for the “big bores”. It’s the kit that comes with little circlips, orings, and whatnot.
3- keep it out of water the best you can, I’m positive the bearings are just a metal shielded type and the first taste of water will allow them to rust and corrode. They are not serviceable. When you take stuff apart get a measurement on the bearings you come across and replace them with a rubber shielded type.

There you go, there’s your upgrades for now.

If you are looking to upgrade things like shocks, rather than going for the leaky cheap 'upgrade' shocks, I used Arrma 6s shocks. I used Traxxas tire and wheel. Kyosho ball and rod ends.
My point is to look elsewhere if you are finding a want to improve this rc. The quality of the 'hop up parts' isn't as good as other hobby grade parts. Even the stock hobby grade parts are better.
The hub carriers and other parts are prob gonna have to be from Hypergo.
Battery will be a huge upgrade if your rc is like my deerc!

I follow a lot of Facebook groups for the MJX 1/16 and 1/14 cars. From what I gathered is the aluminum upgrades that are offered, aren't worth the money. Super flimsy, poor fitment, etc. The 1/14 scale MJX cars suffer from diff problems, I've heard the "jetwood" branded cars have better diffs the MJX variants. Can't confirm that though since I don't actually own one.

I will say this, you will never get this car up to par with Arrma or any of the other bigger brands. It's just not realistic and it is not going to happen. Enjoy it for what it is and keep saving... You'll end up dumping 2x the cost of the car into it with nothing to show for it. They aren't bad cars, but the moment you ask for more than what they offer out of the box, they become very temperamental. The quality of materials just isn't there and there isn't really anything available to improve it unfortunately. Save the upgrade money and put it towards a larger 1/10 beginner car from a more established brand later on down the road.

I wanted to know how to fix this. It has been like this for a while and I am worried that I am wrecking it each time I drove it. Here is a video to show you the problem. Reach out as fast as you can with the solution or a video to help me.https://files.fm/u/6awpcarjcr
