Some time ago I had one of these chassis with the bearing kit at home and I didn't even get to mount it. Now I have bought one from a close RTR friend and it is cheap, also with a bearing kit and sprocket kit, it also has something else that can be seen in the photos, the package arrives tomorrow hehehe:

And on the other hand, also a close friend, I have taken the tamiya rigid body, it has a job, which is what I wanted, but it is whole and healthy, which is what matters, next to home and very cheap.

Now to put the two parts together, revive the body, make an interior and take measurements to see if I can put an ARB bumper on it.

I have a plan for the future with this chassis, but everything in due time

We continue, the jimny's bumper is not valid, it would be a hilux by size, anyway, as what I want is to put a winch, and spend little, I think that a trx6 amg bumper could be adapted.

For now some photos from yesterday;

And today Christmas morning I started with the refurbishment... clean some bearings, I'll touch foams and suspensions, I'll change the 26t for 45t, I don't like the cardan system that it has, just like the one with the bearings although there is no solution there . When I go back again I will start with the pajero bodysuit

Well, the axles are ready, bearings are well greased and stainless steel screws, I have also put brass bushings on the brackets, to be able to put standard stainless steel screws

I have made more progress, pending the 45t to mount the tranny, I already have the chassis finished with stainless steel screws, homemade links with traxxas ball joint and metal ball, incision shock absorbers with mst springs. At the moment it is like this:

And here are some photos with the body simply resting on the heels, poor Pajero, he needs love, that's what's next hahaha

And he still has a lot of sandpaper left, I don't know what the hell that gray is but he is rough and doesn't come out with anything, also when sanding he makes balls buffff… ..

That was a lot of sanding! It's looking really good, can't wait to see it painted. :thumbs-up:

It has a trap hehehehe, it spent 1 night in a bag with 96-degree alcohol and everything softened quite a bit, it spent another second night the same and I was able to remove everything except a layer of primer, which I had to remove by rubbing with a brush and solvent and very carefully , now yes, it needs a hand of sanding and I will start to paint it
