Hey guys,

I am missing some hardware out of my new Jammin kit. I am missing all the bolts that hold the shock towers in place. The screw size is 4x8 mm and 3x10, and 4x10mm. I have called Jammin and left messages and sent emails and have heard nothing from them. My lhs can get me the screws but will charge me for them. What am I supposed to do? I have paid almost $600 for this kit and now I am going to have to spend about 15 to get the screws that I am missing. This sucks! Ofna has not returned any of my calls. What's the deal? Does anybody have any suggestions on what to do? Or has anyone ever had this kind of trouble with hardware missing from kits? This is so frustrating! Thanks guys.

Tom

Might be worth it to get the kit from Tony's Screws! I want to say the whole kit will run you about $30 plus a couple for shipping but then you'll have all the spares in a better quality screw! Check it out. I know what you mean though, my LSP was missing the droop screws.

Welcome to the world of OFNA. I have heard many problems of missing parts from there kits. Anyway, if I were you I would just get a good quality hex head kit rather than spending $15 for just the few screws you need to finish, then you will have spares.

Yeah. I think that is what I am going to end up doing. It just steams me to think the kit is short, after the money the kit cost. I guess I was expecting a bit much I guess. The CRT was not missing anything I just had some problems with the king pin screws. I will keep bugging Ofna, maybe I will get a responce. Until then I will look for a good replacement set. I think I am done spending money between now and the wedding... two whole weeks! Then I will order the rest of the electronics that I need to get the buggy up and running. Thanks for the advice guys. The kit is of high quality though.. well at least it looks good. Take care guys.

I'm finally putting together my little Micro RS4 and I'm missing an entire plastic tree. Then I find out my CA glue has dried up. And now I can't find the damn motor I bought for this thing. I know its in the house somewhere but I can't find it. I feel your pain man!!!

OMFG only 2 weeks away?? I'm exactly 3 months away as of yesterday and I'm stressing the F*** out. lol

I understand completely how you feel, you paid for a complete kit, you want a complete kit.

Yeah, but whatcha gonna do? I just want to get the kit put together... and now I have to wait! LOL It's all good. I just had to vent. A few missing screws is nothing to get all worked up over. Have a great day guys.

Tom,

How many of each screw do you need? I have plenty of spares at home and can send you some to complete your build. LMK

Hey SD... That would be great! I am actually only short 4 4x8 mm hex head cap screws, 2 3x10mm hex head caps. I already was able to pick up the shock studs yesterday at my LHS. If you do have them, just let me know how much I owe you. I really appreciate the help. I am really anxious to get the kit together. Thanks again, have a great day.

No problem, I'll put them in the mail tonight. PM me your address.

If you can find all of the screws, LMK I have buckes full and can help out if needed.

Hey Thanks Ed... I appriciate the offer. I think I am all under control now though. SD said he has what I am in search of. I will keep after Ofna to see if they have a response. I am going to keep calling until I get an answer from them. I have heard that Ofna's customer support is not too bad, so hopefully I will get an answer. At this point though, I do not need to contact them. I should have what I need here in a couple of days... thanks SD! Take care guys, and thanks for all the help and advice. You guys Rock!

Hey VB,

I am going to look at Tony's screws to see about maybe getting a spare screw kit for all those screws that break or get lost during a race. I have heard they rival RC Srewz. For now though I am going to wait on any purchases for a few weeks until I can get back and settled from the Honeymoon.

Take care guys.
