Hi

I am thinking about getting the MIP X-DUTY Driveshafts for my Rustler but I'm seeing a lot of reviews about how the 12mm hex's are cracking or splitting in half, has anyone run into this problem?

Nope. Id just fill in the voids in casting before installing on rig Pc11 or pc7

I use the x duty shafts on my slash 2wd. I had no problems with the hexes. I just had problems with the pins backing out but loctite fixes that.

I would get hoss driveshafts. I can't guarantee that they will fit because I haven't tried but I think they will. They are super strong and cheaper

Hi

MIP contacted me and let me know that this was a problem that they have fixed 2 years ago and if it does happen to me they will replace it. So I went ahead and ordered a set.
