Everyone knows the new 1/16th Slash was going to arrive with brushless power, but did you know it will be capable of 50 MPH WITHOUT LiPo??? Read this:

The rig is out for pre-order with a street price of $279 at A Main, $284 at Tower.
I can not wait to get my hands on one. I may not be the first on here to do so, but one will be in my stable!

Oh, and this baby CORR truck is 4x4!

the 1/16 e-revo is $300...i think it will go down once they get some sales though..they had to design all new molds and stuf to make these so that brings the price up

i'm a big nitro fan to but i'll be adding a 1/16 e-revo to my collection lol...

this thing would fly with lipo's i think lol...literaly..it would probobly take off..not much weight or anything

I thought the price was pretty spot-on for brushless with a battery and a charger. 12 cell capable--that is 14.4 volts!!! I am betting that thing would do 70 MPH (give or take) on a 3s LiPo pack. Think it capable of two LiPo packs???

I agree with MGT--I doubt the dang thing would stay planted, and I bet it would blow the tires right off the wheels.

I don't care that it is almost three bills--I want one! It just may be awhile...

I bought one, as soon as i get the suspension dialed this thing will be a blast, it is extremely fast on only one 1600 ma nihm pack.

I think that they would be as much fun as anything that size with a brushless/LiPo setup. I thought about getting one and stil may get one after the holidays. On a pair of 2S LiPOs in series the Mini eRevo is supposed to do 70 mph. I don't know but it would be fun to drive anyway.

I drove a Mini Slash @ a month or so ago at my local track. It's a ballistic missile on dual LIPOs. Could barely handle the thing in the dirt. lol Truck was nice, but on a track built for bigger rigs it's rough. It hit a tiny bump on the front straight and the truck flew up in the air and went end over end @ 11 times. lol
