Hey all, already I'm wanting more rc, this time i thought id go for a Losi Micro T :D
Havent bought it yet, soon, unless my motorbike gets back then ill have to pay for that.
Anyway how do we all like STOCK Micro T's?
can't wait to chase the cats!!!:hehe:

If you have cats... get the bearing kit and axles that use nuts vs clips. You will need them. You will probably need to pull all 4 wheels and clean the cat hair out of the axles about once a charge. Gets old really quick with c-clips.

I'd get the baja if I were you. A bit longer, a bit more ground clearance. Or better yet, the micro raminator. It comes with the axles/nuts. Then you would just need bearings to extend run time and the time it takes for the cat hair to foul up the axles.

My biggest issue with the micro-t was cat hair. Even after vacuuming really really well, it still finds hair to wind around the axles, then drags it down and kills the battery more quickly. Bearings helped, raminator tires/wheels helped a lot as well.

I extended mine a bit with a metal plate and made a AAA 4 cell pack. Looks stupid, but runs for the better part of an hour before the battery dies out. By then, the cat is exhausted and my wife is thoroughly annoyed! ;)

I'm picking up the losi oil filled shocks tomorrow hopefully. Should help with the extra weight mine is putting up with and the bounce happy landings off of jumps.

Most of the running will be done on tiles, probly no carpet running.
What do i have to do to get the raminator wheels to fit, and wont it be a bit slower with big wheels?

I geared down to the smallest pinion that came with it to avoid overgearing the motor. However, I also run an aftermarket motor... Atomic dual ball bearing, $14 on ebay.

The micro-t and micro raminator run the same chassis and whatnot. Just a different body/body mounts to raise it up a bit. At bare minimum, you need the axles with nuts to run the raminator tires/wheels. I don't know how you would get the c-clip on/off otherwise.

To not bog up your thread with my info, you can take a look here:

Shows the progression and nightmare of an end result! ;)

An Noticeable differences?
What would be the better coice?

They are the same exact thing with a few exceptions. The DT has a longer chassis deck/core, different tires/wheels/body and it has a bumper.

Otherwise, the same rig.

I find that it being a bit longer makes it jump better. I don't have the DT, but I extended mine about an inch (if you take a look at that link I made up above). The handling drastically improved for corners and definitely in the jumps and bumps.

Alright looks like the DT it is =]
Any estimates on how quik they go?
probably wouldnt be too different than a micro t, so how fast did yours go stock?

Cats can run really fast for a short time so after about 10 mins you should be able to keep up!!

My one cat is terrified of it and runs away like it's the vacuum cleaner. The other cat thinks the microt is his friend. If I have it out and run it a bit, he comes running and watches it. Then if I stop and let it sit for a few minutes, he will go cry at it and paw at it, then eventually lay beside it and stare... creepy little fellow!

When I'm running it, he chases it and stomps on it. Good thing it's tough. 50% of my wrecks are caused by him chasing it, jumping over it and kicking it.
