I have a 4 Gig micro SD card in my phone and some how while it was plugged into my USB charger on my computer it got erased, I found a program that was able to locate the files which happen to contain several pictures of my grand daughter:\ but then they wanted $40:whhooo: for the program to actually let me recover them, so I know they are there and I have not reformatted the card just for this reason, but do any of you know of a free program that I can use to recover the info?

Any help would be greatly appreciated:).

If it's a PC program, try looking on Tucows.com for freeware/shareware.

Gosh thats terrible to hear & wish I could give a helping hand in this situation but I have never even heard of such a thing with the micro SD cards. That sucks especially in your case where you have family pictures that are in a sense ir-replacable (spellcheck):(

Yeah I have found a couple programs that say trial use, but after they find the pics and stuff they want you to go spend $50 bucks so you can actually save or recover them.

I haven't used this but it looks like maybe it'll work for you.

MiniTool Power Data Recovery Free Edition

Thank you so much, it worked and I recovered all of my pics:banana-mario:, it was mainly the ones of my grand daughter I was wanting:D....The other stuff I was not really concerned about, but I got all of it as far as I can tell with the exception of maybe a few ring tones...

Thanks Again,
Curtis

BTW the one I posted is freeware. I think you just pay for a pro version or support. I know the standard version is free. Glad to here you got your pics back.

Guess I must have clicked on the wrong download link, they always make it harder to find the free stuff, LOL!!! :D
