I have som old Yu-gi-oh cards and I'm not knowledgeable enough to know where to go or how to know what's worth more research. I guess I just kind of figured the community was going to be like the RC community.. boy it is NOT. Atleast the ones I've talked to. Is there anyone on here with more knowledge on cards like this? Any good experiences for anyone? Thanks for hearing my rant. I have a bunch of cards like this and have been in open air maybe 5 times.

If they were Magic the Gathering cards, they'd be worth something to that community.
I played magic way back and never spent money on cards. The longer the game took the better. None of those would be worth anything lol

Maybe $30-$160

like @332_RC said, sadly the dark magician was a bulk card made aailable in many many legend blue eyes white dragon booster packs then agaiin over the years
1999: Legendary Collection booster pack
2000: Japan-only re-release in Booster Pack "Dark Magic Gale"
2003: Egypt reprint in Gold Series 2
booster packs making it a low value bulk card.
that being said the "value" of a card mostly depends on the number of copies made. if they made 12000 dark magician cards its value decreases, if they printed 1000 of those cards the "value" is made.
to me personally i value cards based on their usefulness in my decks.

is where most traders base their value. literally they will pull up the tcg player price and base their offer off of that at 99% of the shops and events I've been to (I'm a nerd its been a lot lol)

it is a different hobby and the comunity IS quite different, it is mostly driven by the resale of cards rather than the collecting of them.

it has VALUE to you tho as it has intrinsic value based on the memories just making this post brought up for you, making it very valuable to you on personal levels.
however the tcg (trading card game) comunity is concerned with the cash value they can get for their cards.

mtg released the one ring card, made lots of variants making it a low value card, but 1 of them was a numbered version. the actual 1 card to rule them all type thing. its variant is a 1 of 1, a guy pulled it from a pack at a store and sold it to post malone for 1 million dollars. its one of a kind. creating its value.
