Man, I really, really shouldn't have. Really. I am eating Rama noodles the rest of this month. But they were on sale for 15% off. I had to. Got these Meus Isokinetic axles coming now.

They feature a +10mm wider stance overall and a 52° turn angle.

Next month I'll try to get the electronics maybe 🙄🤪

What are you gonna go with?

I’m still thinking about what to get for our build
I will be going with either the Ecopower 827 servo, or the RampCrab servo. For the motor, I am thinking about using the same PN Racing motor/motor mount/gearset that I put in our Carnage SCX24. I have a really strange need to stay with stock ESC/Rx/Tx. Our crawler table has slots specifically cut to hold the stock Axial transmitters under each truck 🤪

Thanks! I hadn’t run across the pn racing stuff.

And that bench is sweet 😍
The PN Racing motor set can be seen running here in our Carnage. At the time, it was probably the best brushed upgrade out there for the SCX24. So if you're just gonna run stock electronics, it's hard to beat it. Really nice stuff to boot. The slower crawling is me feathering the throttle. This is all 100% filmed speed. Nowhere near the Furitek stuff, but it does ok.

I'd need a lot more radio slots than that! 🤣
Yeah, I will too eventually. We have 5 right now if I can get all of them going 😝

Do you have a link for the kit WF?
Yeah. They have a 5% coupon right now.

The only complaints I see are people claiming there is nowhere to put the battery. Haven't got that far yet, but hopefully it's nothing too hard to figure out.

Yeah I agree, this is a great build. I wish my hands weren't so big so I could build a scx24
It's not too bad really. I have trouble seeing nowadays more than anything. If you have a good .050" hex driver that is magnetized it really helps a bunch. I generally put my finger down on a screw and insert the driver. From there, it's just a struggle to see the hole to screw 🤣

Decided on a more steelie looking wheel. I may still grab the LGRP wheels at some point. Went with a 58mm diameter tire. Hopefully they look good on this little guy. The body/chassis showed up today. Looks like really nice stuff. I'm pretty impressed.

Starting to put it together, but can only do a little at a time, so bear with me.

Unboxed everything and looked over instructions.

The body is a lot nicer than I expected. I love how it has flat and gloss black areas on it.

Comes with a few decal sheets. Really good stuff. Sadly, they are precut. I hate those!View attachment 191827

Lots of parts bags. Tons of screws (more on that to come).

Instruction sheet is nothing more than exploded views. There are 4 different size screws total.

Those wheels are the bees knees! I like that look much better. Good choice

I’d go for the battery on the side next to the “door”, that’s what I did with an Injora chassis I built but, this is a completely different chassis so we will see what you can do here

This one has rock sliders built into the chassis. Will have to see if that is an option.

Haven't bolted these together yet, but it appears these wheels are going to work really well with the Injora beads. These are a directional tire, so ya gotta make sure two face one way, and two face the other way.
