I love Older Metallica like Whiplash and Pulling Teeth

The Turn the Page cover is good. Or on YT there's a video of them on the Jimmy Fallon show playing Enter Sandman acoustic with kids toy instruments. Like the PlaySkool stuff

Yeah, that was probably the thing that did it. As soon as your head clears up, all those weird thoughts that sparked the creativity go bye-bye as well.

Anything after Black was Reload and Garage Inc albums? The most modern Metallica I like is hardwired (just the song not the full album)

Saw them twice. They played with GNR in Boston.
Metallica sounded better and put on a better show.
2nd was at Woodstock 94. Fun show!
