Metal body Grand Cherokee ZJ

After finishing Toyota Hilux body and made several copies, I had a few ideas for the next project. Finally, I decided to make Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ. One of the advantages was that I own a real one and I can measure it, check how panels join anytime I want.

It's early prototype that will be destroyed in crashtests that inner structure durability tests, so dont judge it too hard

Thank you. I love all old jeeps too.
I tried many different ways. The easiest one was to copy factory methods (designing molds, embossing metal panels on this forms etc)

Great work. I too would mind seeing a process. Don't see too many grand Cherokee. In high school a buddy had one. Its a different feeling blowing a yellow at 65 in the rain and spinning tge whole way through.

Those small block grand cherokees could get down. A bunch of guys built some pretty harcore mud trucks with them around here back years ago.

I had a 96 Grand Cherokee tsi. That eas a nice truck.
05 Hemi was nice too... no ticking!!!

I had one just like this with a 318 in it. It was AWESOME!!!

Nice job! You recreated the shortcomings of the real trucks too!
Its really amazing work! Makes me miss that old bomber now!
