Lookin good! Now time to get those shocks done...

My thoughts exactly... lol
My next step is to mount the Front, Rear & center to the chassis, but I'm waiting on some axl boots before I mount everything. So.... I'll jump to the shocks & dying of my wheels while I'm waiting for the parts...

AHH!! I can follow along again!!
Looking real good. Almost too good.
I might have gotten the wrong buggy!?!?!?!?!?!

In the kit did they give u engine mounts and servo monts and linkage ???

they should give you that stuff... if not its not too expensive anyway... servo mounts for sure they have... engine mounts I'm pretty sure.. I'm not quite sure about linkages tho

I figured once I get it running, I'll run outside with it. ( it's like 8 feet and up 5 steps to the door).
I didn't make it!

You should've thrown it through the basement window like your starter box that caught fire. You would've made it. :boxing:

Yes, the MBX5 and MBX5 Prospec come with aluminum engine mounts and servo mounts and linkage.. The Prospec has a sweet new single-piece engine mount that makes the chassis more rigid..

lol.. Give me a break guys... I'm waiting on a few parts still. They should be here Saturday... I will definately have the shocks built & tires mounted tomorrow. My engine/pipe combo is on its way from Cali, thanks to Will @ Willzwerks/RC Pit... I still have to buy servos though...
Need some more $$... lol

how about you just give it to me!!no worries ill get my own servos...that thing is looking real sweet..I'm going to have to get me one...nice job on the build!! jusy try to hurry up please!!i can't wait no longer I'm coming over to help you....lol

I think that my build when much quicker and smoother.
This is getting silly.
You better get your ass in shape!
Two weeks goes by quickly.
LOL....

Dont you worry, I'll be ready for the bash... It really sucks waiting for parts, let me tell ya...

Thats it... can't wait any longer.... The Blue boots are goin on... I was waiting on black ones... lol Servos are next....

Dude!! You won't even see them inside the springs.
Change them later if you don't like it.

That thing looks amazing, ImB. Is there anything in the kit at all that isn't already performance-rated or top-of-the-line?

It is odd that they gave you fully-threaded screws for the brake assembly. Those were the first pieces of hardware I went lookin' for when I converted to a double-disk brake on a truck.

The boots are for the CVA's... They sent me Blue instead of Black. I called em up, & the Black ones are on their way. I just can't wait anymore... lol

Hicks... The kit is truely awesome... All parts are top notch, & I couldn't ask for a smoother build so far... The threaded screws for the brake shoes kinda confused me though... The shouldered screws I replaced em with, plus the springs, made a huge difference... This buggy is gonna rock... lol

OK, I decided to use the blue boots.. lol I went ahead & mounted Front, Rear, Center, braces & tank/guard. My next step is to mount the whole servo config... I need servos... lol Bare with me guys... :smoke:
