I own a really nice maximumst but i want it to go a little faster. i am willing to spend 60 bucks to make it faster what can i do ? and if any who has 1 what is the top speed of it around 35 ?

Just gear it different. Or save some more cash and get a new engine.

new pipe? sounds about in your range...I've never bought a new pipe because most cars come stock fast enough for me to break...but that would probaly be a good bet besides the gears for the money

I've got a duratrax nitro evader st. Stock, it has a 60 tooth spur gear on it. Tower sells a 54 tooth gear for it, but it says "buggy only". I bought it anyway, and istalled it today. It did exactly what I wanted to do, tone down the bottom end and increased top end. I mostly just wanted to slow it down on the bottom end because it spun out so easy. Granted, I'm new to R/C, but it works for me. BTW, the new gear was less that 4 bucks.

ok, if i were you i would eather, (A) get a new spur and clucth bell gear and a new HIGH PERFORMANCE PIPE no lil cheap thing, better berrings. or (B) As some one once said befor save up for a new engine, that will hawl ass.. pico is the way to go!
