So yesterday I was at the hobby shop buying some parts to get my .21 RS4 2 up and running again. At one point, I told one of the employees about the project car. He more or less said he'd love to see it run and for me to bring it by sometime.

So today I bring the car to the hobby shop to show it off and run it. It start up pretty easily, bottom end is lean, but whatever, with 2.5hp it don't matter. So i'm driving around, then he asks to drive it, i'm like sure and I give him the transmitter

So now he's tooling around back and forth in the parking lot, driving like a pro, and not really looking out of control, especially considering the car is breaking traction the minute he gives it gas. So after about a half a tank (equates to about 1-2 minutes of runtime), he gives the transmitter back to me.

I'm all over the place with the car, about to hit everything. Full throttle from a stop, car's going every which way. Since i'm looking like i've got the driving skills of a n00b, he says something to the effect of "alright shut it down, we don't wanna piss people off." So I shut it down...lol

But I swear, i'm a better driver than I looked, i'm just not used to the power. Not to mention I haven't put more than like 6 tanks through the car. Plus, solid diffs seem like the wrong setup :(

Anyhoo, that's my story for today :)

Well i'll see about making a video sometime. Problem is finding someone with the stuff to do it :(

But at least i've provided pictures of the car :)

I havent talked to you in a long time, So I'm guessing you got everything done to the car?

No, it's not done, well, at least to my liking, but it's drivable. I still need to get a different header and have some custom pulley's made. But that's all that really needs to be finished.

I think skyline is reffering to your top speed contest car you was doing back a while ago.....

oh, well i decided a long time ago not to do the contest. Besides, the contest fell through anyways and RCCA majorly sucks because no one will appologize and they all act like the contest is still gonna happen, even though summer is almost over.
