Nah those are stock on the STi, BBS rims. The STi has a ton of upgrades that come stock if that makes sense.

I think his had gold rims when he first brought it home. Or, maybe that was the non STI he had first. He couldn't stand it, and traded it in after about 4 months on the one you see in the pic.
