I'm about to try my hand at vacuum forming rc bodies, I was wondering what people use to mask up areas like wheel arches and other holes when pouring plaster for a mold?
I'm making panels for my Super Baja Rey, which come individually, so i have a lot of gaps to fill.
Is cardboard and masking tape suitable?
Thanks

I think cardboard would be ok if it will hold the weight well enough. You may want to pick up some aluminum tape to keep it from getting soggy.

I had looked into vacuum forming but have decided to run fiberglass for my applications. (I have an old toaster oven in the garage incase I change my mind)
