I can't decide, Savage 25 or some 1/8 scale buggy, leaning toward the ofna mbx 9.5 if I do a buggy, this is so difficult, I hate but love buying RC, All I am gonna do is bash, My local hobby shop only has 1 1/8 scale buggy and thats an xterminator (don't really won't that) but they do have stuff for savages. Decisions, Decsions, Decsions

is the XTM exterminator any good BTW nevefr heard of it

personally - i dont usually recommend a buggy for someone who is just bashing - as they dont really have the ground clearance to use in the grass.

if u are just gonna be bashing around the yard - get the savage. plenty of parts at your LHS, and can go over just about everything.

Dude, if your bashing get the Savage. I just finished the break-in on my Savage SS and it really hauls! It corners better and is just as fast as my buggy in grass.

I would concur with the previous posts. Nothing bashes like a MT, and the Savage is a good platform. If your LHS carrys them and parts for em, bonus.

Get a buggy, get the storm, more fun than you will have with a MT. biasism aside, if theres a track within an hour of you, go check it out and decide from there. Whatever you like the look of, go talk to the guy and see what he says about the car. If you still like it, go for it.

Why not have both?

Buy a Storm, get a set of Ofna Dominator wheels, some truck tires and a smaller pinion gear. Now, when you want to run a truck, slip the wheels on and bang, you got an MT with more clearance. You'll lose a little on top speed in buggy mode but if you're only bashing, who cares?
