i want to hear input on the m8 and the 3pk. which one u guys have and if u like it.

I just ordered the M8, I'll update u when I get it

IMO The M8 is a far Superior radio.
I have and use both.
The JR is a bit lighter in weight and not as bulky but lacks a decent user interface.

The M8 on the other hand is very intuitive to use many of the on the fly adjustments are available by touch without having to stop and look. The user interface is striate forward and the use of the book isn't necessary to try to figure out cryptic 3 letter words like the JR.

I have had mine for well over 2 years and would be lost without it. I'm very adept to electronics and usually have no issues with setting up or using electronics but the JR still puzzles me. LOL at myself At the West coast bash I couldn't figure out how to change from one RC setup to another and I forgot my book. Maybe I just need to use it more but that situation just ruined the entire JR experience for me.

If you look at the radios used in all the national races you will see that 90% of all the drivers use an M8.

i have a 3pk. its pretty hitech. it took me a while to navigate but overal i thibk the 3pk is the best thing out there!!!

since when does jr make the 3pk?

its futaba

and many people get the feeling that the m8 is so much better than everything else when really its not that much. just with the pros, airtronics sponsors everybody and so they all get m8's free.

what would you like better?

m8-free
3pk-$350

hmmmmmmm?

but as to which one is actually better i think the 3pk is totally hiteky with gazillions of features

the m8 has the cool screen and has won the users choice for like the past forever

they both have synthesized options

the 3pk is expensive

dude, get the m8
or the 3pk

doesn't matter

there both cool

did i just confuse everybody?

there we go again :nope:

better stop talking

I run the 3PK and Love EVERYTHING about it. There is not a single thing I dont like. And as for navigating through the menus, it could not be easier. Its full text. Graphical depictions of your trims etc. Even a graph for your dual rates. Amazingly informative. Worth every penny I spent.

But it is my 'one and all' TX for EVERY nitro ride I have. And that alone has a high value to me. I run both the HRS and FM synth on it. I use the HRS from Futaba in the TX for the NTC3 and soon the Buggy. I drop the HiTec synth module in for my other rides. The only thing you have to change is the profile for what car (you can program the names of your rides in which makes it a breeze) you want to run.

I liked the M8 when I checked it out, but the Futaba felt better to me and the menu is what hooked me.

Sorry I can't give you feedback on the M8 as I dont own one.
