i have a aftershock with a m26ss seem to have some problems keeping it tune revs really high when it what owb bad is this worth fixing or should i buy a new motor would appreciate any info its been giving me trouble since i got it

That hurt my head...

It rev's really high when what?

Have you cleaned the OWB?

Mine was leaking everywhere and ran like junk until I tore it apart and cleaned/sealed it. The carb neck, back plate and LSN leaked. I sealed the carb neck and backplate with RTV and I used associated green slime on the LSN. That helped immensely.

If cleaning the OWB with DA and re-oiling it doesn't make it start grabbing again, the I don't think I'd spend the money to fix it. Unless you can get a new starter shaft and OWB cheaply on ebay. IMO, it's a throw away engine. Good to get you going, but not really worth fixing when it starts to fail.

revs high at ramdom it runs great for awhile then start to rev hard to break in in i have may ten tank threw it

i did clean the owb started it work the next day it didnt

Oh. If your doing break in, it's probably just rich and fouling up your OWB.

Check your fuel filter. Mine leaked like a sieve out of the box. The o-ring between the two halves was damaged. Made my first 4 tanks a total drag... I noticed it when I gave up and went home.
