I'll start this build thread by telling you WHY I'm building this car. I'm planning on getting into on-road RC racing at Apex Raceway and Hobbies near Nashville Tennessee. I am planning on building up a TC (Future) and I have a 1/12 pan car on the way currently, but I thought 'Aw what the heck, lets 3D print an F1! So. I. Did.
Introducing the car: (As it sits now)
As with the MKUltra build, this is NOT my design I am just building it. So far it seems to be a top notch design, and I'm excited to see how it turns out.
As what will turn out to be either a smart or stupid move, I'm going to keep track of exactly how much I've spent on this project. So far:
$10, Screw set from Amazon (Awful, they're so easy to strip)
$30, 21.5t motor (Included with that 1/12 pan car mentioned earlier)
And, so far nothing else. A typical build of this kit would require a rear axle + diff from Fenix Racing (Around $80) But being broke I will 3D print a Ball Diff for this car.
I'm very interested in seeing how this comes out.
