I'm doing some general maintenance on my nitro evader, and I was wondering if I should lube the spur gear?

You could if you want but you dont have to. You can just get a bar of white soap and rub it on the teeth of the spur. It is a good lube and it will not fly off and go on everything.
Any suggestions on a steel spur/clutchbell combo?
