I received my brand new lrp .30 today. I can barley pull it over with the glow plug in it has tons of compression but when I take the glow plug out I can pull it over so easy and smoothly is that okay?

Pre heat the engine and make it sure its not flooded. I hope this one might help you. Just take your time break-in the engine and you will be happy with the power of that engine once tune properly.

Thanks man. What I'm saying is that the motor has alot of compression but if I take the plug out I can turn over the motor with hardley any effort but when I put the plug in I can hardly turn it over. Is it okay that it's easy to turn over without the plug?

Yes because with no plug there will be no compression. If you turn the flywheel there should be some mechanical pinch when its at tdc.

That's why, am telling you to pre heat the engine so that the piston and sleeve give you some clearance. Once the metal is hot it tends to expand.

Preheat until the motor is about 200f then Try to start. Also when you prime the motor, only prime until you see fuel reach the carb, then do 2 more cranks and leave it. Then preheat the motor. This should reduce the chance of flooding the motor.
