So I would like to move at some point from my current location in Massachusetts. I am curious if there are any Louisiana residents here that would be willing to chat via dm about their state, and what it's like to live there. I ask since there are places to live that look affordable to me, but it's difficult to get a real feel for things 1000+ miles away. Thanks in advance

Who would want to live there! 🤣

Fire away, here or dm. I’m not “from” here, but been here about 15 years. I know of a place going up for sale in the somewhat near future, already has a decent start for a RC playground 😁

I've been there. Several times. It's hot. All the food is hot. Even the salads. Shreveport wasn't nice. New Orleans was dirty. My .02 cents of nothing.
Yeah I don’t think most here would mind in Nola fell of into the gulf and we gave Shreveport to Arkansas 🤣

Define winter 🤣

There can be a few days to a couple weeks of winter lol

This will shut down the state for days 🤣
January this year I think every morning was -5 or worse when I got up, and the biggest storm dropped about 16 inches of snow on my place in 24 hours

Stay away from GA. We just get ice storms. Freaking messes everything up. Trees down. No power. Then....it's gone. Three days of Antarctica then it's 97° like August in March. Yea..
