I jam out in the jeep sometimes, and with no doors or top on, it might be a little annoying outside, but I don't play music that curses or talks about killing people. Is either dubstep or older rock. And I don't go full blown retard with it turned up all the way.

When get a smacktard like that next to me at a traffic light, I just turn mine up in the old truck slightly until I can't hear them anymore. Thank goodness for Alpine mobile electronics....

For the record, how many of
You guys are running aftermarket audio systems anyways??

Factory stereo? That's the first thing to go when I buy a vehicle. I did keep the Bose amp and speakers in my Acura, though.

Due to the soft top, I kept the factory head unit, but changed out all 7 factory speakers (4 6.5's, 2 tweeters one 8in sub) to aftermarket, put a 500w amp to the highs, and a 700w amp to the sub but kept it all in the factory enclosures. Everything has been changed out, but it till looks completely stock.

How many watts rma are you pushing to each of your speakers?

I've down graded so much over the last couple years but yes stock sucks. Running 200wrms to my mids/highs and 200wrms to my sub. I hope to build up a system again though, I miss having a nice setup.

I wish i could swap out my car radio. My cars interior is controlled by the radio, blue tooth/nav/phone/voice control/back up camera and dvd is all one sys.:\

They make adapters for most of the better name brand head units to do all of that these days, Nikko.
