Cut out a length, cut it down to 1 5/8 longx1/4 on each side, drill 3 1/8" holes 2 for the trany case screws & 1 for the spring. Use 2 slightly longer 3mm screws for the trany case to get the same holing power out of them. The part that attaches the spring to the linkage is a Dubro Steel Landing Gear Straps #158 (got at my LHS) bent into an L shape. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXD838&P=SM Any stiff bit of steel will work for the L bracket part, these I got in the Plane section of my LHS.
