The guy at my LHS:whack: said the 2.5 black tranny the springs wont work on it. He told me to use hair rubber bands to close the carb.

Then he needs kicked in the rear!

Lowes,Home Depot or ace all have aluminum angle, buy a piece & 1/8 drill bit.

Cut out a length, cut it down to 1 5/8 longx1/4 on each side, drill 3 1/8" holes 2 for the trany case screws & 1 for the spring.

Use 2 slightly longer 3mm screws for the trany case to get the same holing power out of them.

The part that attaches the spring to the linkage is a Dubro Steel Landing Gear Straps #158 (got at my LHS) bent into an L shape.

Any stiff bit of steel will work for the L bracket part, these I got in the Plane section of my LHS.
