i receantly bought a revo, and all of a sudden it doesn't have that pop to it,its about the 10 or 15th tank of gas in it,and i did break it in,any suggestion would help

did you recently go threw a big temp. drop,? or did you change your driving places? You may needto re-tune your car due to altitude changes.

no,i have not been doing anything different, the onlything that i did different is use a new bottle of fuel, does the fuel need to be shaken up?

Um. Is the fuel in a metal or plastic container? if its in plastic, make sure theres no ' bubbles, ' collecting on the side of it.

Now did you change fuels, or just bottles?

The fuel may very well be the cause of your problem. I've had friends that have changed fuel brands and the mills ran like SH**. No two bottle are fuel are alike. I'm guessing thats your problem anyway..

i went from a quart size bottle to a gallon size, same top fuel brand20%,would it be bad to start running 30%now?

usally as long as you let the car idle a few seconds to let the motor get all the old fuel out, it should be fine, in my old savy i changed fuel 4-5 times and had no problems, altough i have heard of fuel being the problem, check to make sure its not bad like i said.

EDIT:: I dont think thatd be your problem. changeing from 20 to 30%? I'm not sure on that either.

its in plastic, and there are no bubbles while it is sitting still

Did you look on the plastic for bubbles? when i said look for them i mean on the inside of the plastic container. haha my mistake.

ok,i think i just fixed it,the front left lug was loose, now i have a stripped rim.

Traxxas changed there fuel packaging and went to a slightly different formula... If you have the old stuff and this is the new stuff you will need to re tune..

You can change brands of fuel, but it's best to stick with the same nitro % that the motor was broken in with. If you change brands, even though the nitro % is the same, the oil content may be different and that will require retuning the motor. If the drive-train checks out and you don't find any issues with it, try resetting the carb needles back to factory and retune it.
