Hi, can anyone help me I was using my nitro rc buggy and I flipped it then I had no drive it sounds like something is slipping so I took off the cog in the middle where both drive shafts are connected to and it is worn a lot would that be the problem or maybe the clutch? Help please

Its hard to isolate problems with the little info that you've given!

It would help if you can atleast tell what kind of buggy it is!

It's called a seben 1:10 scale buggy I've loosened the engine and moved it to the left so there is more contact with the worn cog which I think is the diff but not sure and it's working okay but I'm going to try and buy a new cog for when it goes completely

You've probably stripped the center diff gear ,If you flipped the car then the engine had probably shifted causing
the mesh to get off.Its a common thing to happen on RTR cars.
The best thing to do when you replace it ,is to put loc-tite on the motor mount screws.
These cars go through a lot of hard jolts & vibrations which causes screws & nuts to loosen. Its best to go through the
car an make sure everything is tight...

These cars are mass produced , its up to the consumer to bullet proof them.

The gear mesh is very important to the longevity of the gears! The proper way to set it
when you install the new gear is to stick a piece of paper in between the gears ,an lightly
slide your engine up to it ,then tighten motor mount down.
Put the loc-tite on the motor mount screw an let them sit overnite!..

It sounds like the engine mount screws have come loose and damaged the gears after the mesh was changed. Readjust the mesh (gap between gears), put some loctite on all the screws and you should be good to go, however a new spur or pinion gear would be best.
