Losi XXX-t problem

hey guys, my bro has the Losi xxx-t. when he goes to run the truck sometimes when he trys to go forward it goes in reverse. and then when he trys to go in reverse it goes forward??? it is wierd. i went and messed with the JR 2 radio and i might have fixed it but no sure yet. he hasnt ran it. might it be the speed control?

I had the same thing with the Rooster reversable on my T2. I noticed also that the controller and wires got hot just sitting there. The problem was that the controller was toast. I fixed it by replacing it with an LRP sportsman.....

i dont think that it is the controller because it and the truck are pretty much new. it is the Jr xr2 controller. but he has a way more powerful battery, and a really fast motor that might have fried the speed controll.
