Hello. Have had a Mini B Pro Roller in storage for a few years now. It is now time to build it!

I have 2 Mini-T parts cars. Will transplant the Motor, ESC, RPM front bumper and GMP rear bumper from the donors. Also purchased an ECO 827 a few years ago that will be used for the steering servo.

-From the donor car, I transferred the entire Mini-T motor and differential assembly over to the Roller. I do lose the sway bar mounting points that the pro-roller has. Not concerned about that at the moment.
-Donor ESC transferred over no problem.
-Used a sunblock bottle-top to elevate the ESC
-ECO 827 servo installed. Direct fit
-The mini-T ESC --> motor wires are short. Will not fit the stock battery. URGENEX 1100 mAh batteries fit.
-RPM front bumper installed from donor car
-GPM rear bumper installed from donor car

Buggy is working.

Used a "precision knife set", to cut out the windows. Prefer the look and additional cooling.
Now waiting on some checkered flag vinyl/stickers to arrive for a few more cosmetic changes to the buggy.

Very Good budget batteries 😉

With the ecopower servo with the direct servo horn I would be careful not to run into anything. Burnt up 1 stock spektrum and 2 ecopower servos because of that servo horn. I Upgraded to a savox with a HR servo saver and haven't had any issues since. Just something to keep an eye on. 😉

Other wise great build 👍

Looking good, nice use of the donor parts.

Thanks for the heads up. I do have a couple extra servo's as back-up.

I'm using the hop-up/upgraded servo horn supplied with the pro roller kit. Not sure if that makes a difference.

Designed the box. It's great for holding the Mini - B. Stoked how it turned out.

1. Made it so the box opens from the top. A lot of Gorilla tape was used.

2. Added a checkered flag theme. Sharpie was used to color in exposed cardboard.

3. Battery + Charger storage unit added. Made with cardboard and gorilla tape.

4. Tool storage unit.

Cool wheel display made with a nut, bolt, washers and held in place with gorilla tape.

Looking good so far....

5. Spruced up the box with some images. The small pieces of Gorilla tape looks like picture frames.

6. 99% finished... just need to find a hoop ring to keep the box closed.

The final decals arrived.
- Applied multiple layers of blue masking tape along the side decals to provide reference to where I needed to cut.
- Wrapped the spoiler, rear bumper, under tray, front bumper and sections of the body. It came out so-so. Definitely looks great from 5+ feet away. Up close it's a pretty good job. Very difficult to wrap.
-Cut out the windows for visual appeal and cooling.
-Applied some decals
-Used a black permanent marker around exposed body areas
Very pleased
-I ended up wrapping the roof in checkered flag also.
-Used razor blades and scissors for cutting.

Those checkers have me thinking you need a bunch of strobe lights and a fog machine in that box too!!! 😎
I think its a pretty unique idea to decorate that box up like you have! The car looks good too!!! Nice job! 👍😁

You read my mind :-) I was thinking of some strobes lights / lighting effect when you open up the box too. Would look very cool. Maybe in the future. Thanks ford the compliments. Very pleased with how it turned out. I

Fun!

- First test drive revealed a few loose screws. Glad I only ran it once and then gave it a look over.
-It's nice have a non-off road buggy. Easy clean-up and no rust.
-Not driving a lot with the bad weather
-Think I will make it faster in the future. The parking lots are big enough for me not to worry about driving into things.
-Really enjoy driving it and then putting it back in the box for future use. Looks great too.
