Losi Micro B upgraded aluminum shocks really just plastic?

I saw something on YouTube about the new Losi Micro B and not sure how true it is. I’m not saying anyone would intentionally make this up but it’s tough to believe. Individual stated that the upgraded aluminum shocks for the micros are actually plastic NOT aluminum? Anyone know if this is actually true? Thanks!!!

don't think they can sell "aluminum shocks" as "aluminum shocks" if they're actually plastic. pretty sure there are laws against that.

Well I know that the Losi G2 complete metal diff actually has a plastic housing, but with metal internals, so there's that.

The exact designation on the label is ”Complete G2 Gear Diff, Metal”. They don’t claim every part to be metal, it’s simply a complete diff.

Aluminium shocks commonly have plastic shaft ends, pistons, spacers, and sometimes caps. Aluminium refers to the shock body.

I don’t think you could sell aluminium shocks with plastic bodies. This must be a misunderstanding or mistake.

Just finished installing the Losi metal front shocks on the micro b. I can confirm the bodies and preload adjusters are definitely ally, the caps and perches are plastic.

Had a hell of a time bleeding these lil buggers. Tried about four times and couldn’t get them to feel the same.. one always ends up great and the other feels too soft..
I gave up and just put them on anyway.

Btw: this thing has the tiniest of hardware! Old eyes beware.
Almost lost a shock in the carpet.

Good looking buggy! Hows the upgrade? Any better handling?
I had a bugger doing small shocks! Gotta push the pistons in before you lock the caps down. That will account for the piston displacement once its pushed up in the shock body.
I had a bad time blowing out o-rings til I figured that out!
