:ponder: I purchased my Losi 2 months ago and am having so much fun. It is currently out of service waiting for parts (beginners smash!). I want a second buggy so I can play when fixing etc. Any advice - stick with losi as second car so parts can be ripped from one to another, or change brand altogether to get experience with other set-ups etc. I am not ruling out another vehicle type altogether (truggy?). Any thoughts??

I would definitely go with the Losi 8ight... It is owning at every track and they are such nice buggies. I was really looking at one, but decided to keep my Mugen.

I don't about it owning all the tracks, in Europe they really love the X-Ray XB8tq. But if you already have a Losi, you might want to get a second as that will help ease the number of different types of spare parts you have to carry around.

If you already busted your 8ight first run out, it's not very tough, my USED Hyper 7 (same as the H8 w/ PBS) took a punishing first time out with me and nothing went wrong.
I liked the Losi buggy at first, but one look as those skinny ass drive lines made me question it.

It's not a basher buggy, I'll give you that. But it has survived nearly 3 gallons of my abuse on the track. And I'm not a good driver yet.

So far the toughness of it has suprised me. I'm really plased with it.

If it's for bashing I whould buy a truggy instead to buy another buggy, if it's for racing or you are planing to race in a near future I'll keep the same brand you allready got, pro racers usually have a second car just to take parts for quick fix at the track, if they have a diff problem they do not open the dif, they just change the full transmision from the other car.

thanks, like all new things actually getting to the track is quite nerve racking, but that is what i intend to do as soon as I can. I am really quite tempted with Losi again and can't wait. Have to wait for my "car jar" to get bigger.
