Pools don't have enough space unless you get something really cheap.

You will need a really big pool. Most of them are like 30-ish feet' long. You can use a small boat but nothing with any speed.

I've seen those and they would work in the pool. We have a pool and had a dog that loved the pool. I thought about getting one so she could chase it around the pool. Tired dogs are good dogs. But she is gone now.
