1. Bashing
Hey guys I'm looking to buy a crawler and was wondering what the best one to get would be. I heard good things on the venom creeper and the axial crawlers...what do u guys think?

Depends on your budget. For back yard crawling then the Venom is ok but would take ALOT of work, as would the axial to be a good comp rig. The losi Comp crawler is a better step towards being comp worthy but they take some fine tuning to get them working well out of the box. How much are you looking to spend top dollar?

Are you planning on competing or just general bashing? For general bashing the Axial Axial Almost Ready to crawl is a great deal. Another good one for bashing is the Losi Night Crawler. I personally have a Losi Mini Rock Crawler and really like it for bashing on the rocks.

i'm just gonna do some backyard bashing. i'll prolly spend somewhere in the neighborhood of 200 to 300

ok i just ordered the venom creeper kit. it doesn't say what all it comes with, so i ordered the Tekin FXR T45 ESC/Motor Rock Crawling Combo (45T) as well. do you guys know much about the esc motor combo? also, does that kit come with any electronics? can anyone help me? thanks

I believe the kit is just a roller, so you will also need a steering servo, the higher the torque the better off and happier you will be, I would also recommend a Castle BEC so all of your electronics get plenty of power, a castle Link to program the BEC and you will need a transmitter and receiver if you do not already have one, here are links to the things i have suggested for you:

Castle BEC http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXSWL3&P=ML

DX3E http://www.amainhobbies.com/product...ase&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Product-Feeds

This what is says is required for the kit:
Requires: 2-channel radio w/1 standard servo & receiver, 540-size brushed or brushless motor, Brushed or brushless ESC 6-7 cell NiMH or 2S LiPo battery, NiMH- or LiPo-compatible charger

I heard that the axles get tore up really bad if you use the unlock or lock the diffs too much
