Sorry guys. I know OFNA came out with some axle adapters for buggy's to run 14mm maxx rims/tires, but they are around $50.

Well, I've been trying to check out the truggy RTR's that companies are offering to see what they are using to kick the wheels out far enough to not rub on stuff. Most use longer arms/axles (expensive route), some use axle extensions (cheaper route). I prefer cheaper for now as $ is an issue.

I found that the GS Racing SUT runs adapters, but I can't seem to find axle dimensions at all for it to see if it's comperable to what my HB lightning has. I'm fairly certain the OFNA ones will work, but I found these for $25: GS 14mm hex adapter

Anyone run an SUT or apparently a storm (Storm/Sut axle) as they both appear to use the same rear axle shaft. Knowing the lengine from the collar, the diameter of the shaft and where the pin hole is will allow me to figure out if I can use these or not.

Thanks guys!

BTW, this is the other thread I started about the OFNA Adapter OFNA Adapter Thread

olds, all currently made buggies use a std, 8mm axle. those adapters will work for you provided that the cross pin is the same size. some manufactures use different cross pins. the JT extenders that are on my truggy accomodate both size cross pins by having both size holes drilled in them. of course you could always buy the cheapest adapters you can find and drill them out to size if at all needed.

Oh. Thanks for the info. I didn't realize that all buggies used the same diameter axle.

Any idea of the position of the hole for the pin on the axle is standardized as well? Not the size of the hole (you cleared that up above), but the position of the hole.
