Looking for a nitro truck

Hey, I am a basic newbie looking to get a nitro rc truck for this holiday season. My Dad is a mechanic so he will be able to help me maintain it.

I am preferably looking for an RTR to save time setting up.

Any tips or suggestions on what truck to get. My budget is around £80-£150 ($160-$300 USD)

A truck like the one featured in this blog would be really sweet. Also, the TRAXXAS trucks looks pretty sweet, is there one that fits my need and budget? Thanks guys.

This is just a suggestion. Its not the greatest out there.
But your budget isnt to high if your looking for a decent
monster truck. If you really want a good basher truck. I
would suggest going with a revo or a savage.

To be honest to get something new in the uk with that budget you'll be pushed. Your best bet is to look around on ebay for a 2nd hand.

Either that or try some sites in Hong Kong or America (like amainhobbies.com) because the $ is really weak at the moment so importing stuff is dirt cheap.

Id say save up a little more and get the revo or the savage. Both great all around trucks. Will leave you with little headaches and worth the extra $$
