Ok, so I'm in the market for a new buggy! Looking to go 1/8 4wd. I'm looking at the B44.1 the hot bodies Ve8, the new axial Exo buggy, and the Duratrax DXR8-e. Any suggestions or comments on them? I would like to start racing. I'm leaning towards the Associated B44.1. Mainly because I know the name so well. What do you think? Thanks!

Are you looking for an electric buggy? If so, HPI makes one with their Flux ESC/motor combo.

Well, if you want to race, there is no class for the Axial buggy, well atleast not near me., The B44.1 is 1/10th scale and i heard they are very fragile. The duratrax looks like a pretty nice rig, but I've never seen anyone with one, since its a pretty new car. Also, some people look away from the Ve8 because it has a all plastic chassis, but i have no idea if its a prob. or not. I drive a Team Associated RC8.2e, great buggy and you like the brand. The top two buggies i see at my local tracks are the Losi 8ight and the associated ones. Also Ofna makes a prety good buggy too. Hope this helps a bit.

Thanks, yeah I realized the B44.1 was 1/10 after. I really like the RC8.2e but it's a little out of my price range. I was looking to stay under 400 for the kit.

Thanks to all! Just bought a RC8.2e! Had good discounts at Tower! Plus easy pay.

Not yet but I think I'm going to this season. I've been there with my savage! Do you?

never raced there but i go when theres no race.that was years ago ..hehe.
