Alright, so I've gone through the stages of life (started with a Traxxas Nitro Sport SE, moved to a Team Losi XXX-NT, then played with a couple others), and am looking into getting a 1/8th scale truggy. I want to get an RC8T but the thing costs more than my life is worth, so I'm pretty sure I won't be getting it. However, I was looking at the Exceed RC Battalion, looks like a good candidate for someone who isn't looking to get into racing etc. I just want a 1/8th scale I can bash around with on dirt, grass, pavement, etc. Do you think it's a good truggy for the money or would it truly be a better idea to invest in something a bit more expensive?

Anyone on here have one of these rigs that could tell me firsthand if it's worth it?

Thanks!

For $279 it not a bad price if your just gona bash it around, but when something of the same type from a better known brand cost a lot more, you gotta wonder where they are saving the money, it's kind of like buying a bike at wally world and buying a bike at bike shop, sure they will both get you where you want to go but the one from the bike shop that fits youe right and has better parts is going to get you there faster and be alot more comfortable, and you are not going to need a new one in a couple of months, and like Jaxon said being able to get parts with out any problems goes a long way to, IMO the RC8T is going to be a much better and longer lasting truggy with great parts support.

So the moral of the story is wait a bit, save some more dough, screw the junk Exceed and pick up an RC8T?
