I don't think it's discolored. I think that's where the Header spring probably rubbed against it.

I have seen a block discolored before.I sprayed it with carb cleaner to clean the dirt off..OOPS!!!

That engine should suit you very well, I run the same one in my savage and it rips. What gearing are you running? I only have a little more than a gallon on mine so I can't comment on longevity.

I don't know cause I have no fuel

SD I am running 15/49 with the 3 speed. What gearing would you recommend with this mill. Also does anyone know the factory needle settings for the .27?

Ran 3 tanks thru it and all I can say is WOW! This engine is ridiculous. Has tons of torque and great topend. I love it. I have already snapped 3 dogbones. If your not running this engine in your MT then you gotta get one! :hammer:

Factory setting looked like all needles were flush, my LSN right now is at around 4 and half turns out but I'm still on the richer side.
