A nice old original Clod Buster. My Brother got this from a guy about two weeks ago for the right price...FREE!. A buddy of his just wanted to get rid of it, and the only reason he took it since he know or cares nothing about RCs is he figured I might be interested in it for parts. Well I now plan on yanking the axles which are in very nice shape, and rims and tires and pretty much getting rid of the rest of it. The welder I work for is going to teach me how to weld 3/16 steel rod and help me build a Jeep based tuber chassis. so it looks like I have another crawler project to start on here real soon!

Cool Beans. Can't beat that price!

Nice looking Clod and you can't beat that price! Sounds like a cool project, we'll be waiting for the build thread.

Hell yeah. can't beat that. Very cool.. can't wait to see the progression.

One question I always meant to asked but always forgot to ask.. Where do they get 4x4x4?? Wheres the extra 4 come from?

The stock Clod comes with a crappy four wheel steering set up. 4x4x4 is Four wheel drive with four wheel steering.

ohh.. From factory it comes with 4 wheel steer? Thats kinda cool they at least attempted it.. Thanks for fillin me in. (I wondered that for the longest time)

No problem bro! The stock Clod has a center mounted servo that tries to turn all four tires....Yes one servo trying to steer both axles. It's still better than front steering only, but you need a monster servo.

I was checkin it out a bit. It has Futaba servos and a futaba receiver. The rear steer has been locked out, so the servo was only being used for the front. The axles are in great shape and so are the rims and tires. They are a little dirty but thats easily taken care of. The truck is actually in very good condition overall, with the exception of that disgusting lid, lol. I was pleasantly surprised, especially for the price :D
