Is it possible to have to long of fuel tubing what is a good length of tubing from tank to carb. also i have a basic dubro and a Big Daddy fuel filter could this cause problems. I have noticed that when my engine is to temp and my truck rolls on its lid it dies in about 2 seconds.plus when i fill the tank and plug in the EZ S. the fuel wont travel so I have to plug the pipe to prime it I never have had to do this till I added tubing and a second filter.

You may be restricting your fuel flow somewhat with the extra line and filters. You may also have an air leak in there somewhere. Or, your engine is getting worn and isn't priming as well as it used to. But if it worked fine just prior to your latest fuel line and filter additions, then I'd check things over for a leak. Take out the fuel filters and see if it still primes the way it used to.

8-10 inches is the norm for pressure line length and 6-10 is the norm for the fuel line to carb length.

Mine are both between 6 - 8 inches, and I also have the Big Daddy filter. I get good run time on my lid, so I suspect you have an air leak. It might be in one of the connections in the line, the filter seal (if it isn't tight enough) or even the carb throat.

I've read quite a bit of stuff on fuel line length and even though my engines aren't fully broken in and running at full potential (as I have yet to go past 1/2 throttle except for quick punches) I feel that this subject isn't quite proven yet, there seem to be a lot of exceptions out there. I've seen some very short lines on some vehicles... of which have reputations for runnin very well. I'm runnin somewhere in the neighborhood of 36-40 inches total fuel line/pressure line (per engine)_and I don't seem to have any problems yet. I think you just have to tune for it. For instance, in my case, having so much line I'm noticing that my LSN needs to be a bit more rich than the factory preset and the HSN needs to be waaaaay more lean than factory.
