Just curious if this is something people do, and if it is why or why not?


I'm looking to lock my EXO diffs up for an IFS style trail buggy.

I want to still bash just want to know if its possible with pros n cons.

Yep people do it all the time.
 
Independant front suspension is reffering to how the suspension cycles. Like on a Maxx. One side can move independant from the other side. Any rig with a arms is independant suspension.

No I totally understand that Matt...what I seem to be missing is the link between IFS and locking your diffs. What does one have to do with the other? I feel like this is a crawler/scaler thing and I'm not understanding the connection as I know nothing about either crawlers or scalers.
 
Its similar to a SAS setup (scalers and crawlers) I just want to lock out 2 or 3 diffs whatever works to have in lamense terms 'posi' traction to act more like a locked SAS (Straight Axle Suspension) setup.

Now to find some lockers to fit this rig....

Theres nothing really differant between SAS & IFS setups, both have shafts with diffs, I want to lock my diffs up on my EXO.

Okay, do I have to buy a locker kit or is there a simple cheap way to lock the diffs in the F/R?

I want to do some light trail scaling in my EXO once I fix it...
