I'm trying to replace the front axle housing on my bog hog and ran into many screws being overly tight and or stripped in the hex. Has anyone else experienced this or is mine just the odd one out

I mean this can happen to any RC. I just learned that if screws are tight, especially if they have loctite on them from the factory or you added it, you can put a hot soldering iron to the head so it can melt the loctite and you can get it out that way. Also using quality hex drivers and bits are the way.
If you need to get out a stripped screw, I like the Dremel method, cut a slot and flathead to get out. Most of the time especially if it's counter sunk or going through metal, I don't really prefer the Dremel.
Punching in a torx bit and slowly twisting it out can also work.
Or drilling it out.

Indeed, some people like me use too much loctite sometimes. Soldering irons seem to work for everyone, but in my case, they magically don't, even at 500°C. If it doesn't work for you either, I suggest using a tiny propane/butane gaslighter which will definetely heat it up. Just don't use it on plastic

This seems to be the issue. All of the screws are in the plastic axle housing. I've never run into anything that's been this tight. Thanks for all the help. I'll just have to get a couple new parts and find some screws to make it work.

You aren't alone. The LMTs are famous for being torqued to hell and stripped by the factory workers. The usual suspects are the pins in the wheel hexes, pins in the driveshafts at the 3rd member, and the screws holding the lockouts on the rear axle. The worst part is that if one or two screws are over-tightened, it's usually the same throughout the whole truck.
If you bought the truck new, take pictures and send them to Horizon's customer service along with all the necessary details and they will take care of you.
