I was wondering how long fuses are suppose to last. For me, after I use a fuse for charging a pack like 3 times, it will blow. I use Radioshack 1A 250V Fast-Acting fuses. I pause between every battery pack charge (I wait until the heat from the charger cools off), then I start charging again.

Fuses last as long as you don't exceed the current rating of the fuse or short the terminals of the batteries or leads while powered on.To my knowledge.

Hmm, I have the right fuse to use. So does this mean I should pull out the cord then wait for it to cool off then plug in the other pack and the cord?

Go from a fast fuse to a slow blow.
A fast burns the first time the amp draw nears the stated value, a slow blow will take the rated amount of current for up to 10 min. before blowing.

Woah, this is an old thread. I don't need info on fuses anymore, I learned lots more about it. The charger that uses the fuses is actually for sale now.
